Checking In: Paso Robles, CA
A central coast road trip to Paso Robles, including a stay at a new boutique hotel.
If you’re new here, welcome! So happy to have you here.
This week, I’m bringing you a hotel feature on a recent central California stay.
Farmhouse Paso
Created and managed by Nomada Hotel Group, Farmhouse Paso is a newly renovated boutique hotel in Paso Robles, California coined as a “twist on a classic Spring Street motel.” The hotel houses 26 guest rooms that maintain the architecture of the original motel (from 1947!) with a design refresh that brought new life to the charming boutique stay.
I drove up from Los Angeles last month to visit Farmhouse Paso for a Valentine’s Day trip, which consisted of lots of relaxing, good food and good wine. I adore the central coast and Paso Robles is such a cute area to get away to. From the lobby lounge to the communal fire pits, the property has a welcoming feel that makes you want to relax and stay awhile.

A Weekend in Paso Robles
A quick list of where we ate, drank + explored:
Breakfast
We loved the complimentary breakfast during our stay. Coffee, juice, pastries, fruit and more were ready for us each morning in the lobby lounge.
Dinner + Drinks
Fish Gauco: Incredible Mexican food + the best cocktails. Their bar has over 250 of the world’s best tequilas, so let’s just say, you have options here.
The Hatch Rotisserie: True to its name, the rotisserie chicken here is really, really, really good. I loved their appetizers as well like the roasted beets and Ernie’s birds salad.
Explore
We visited Halter Ranch this trip and loved it. Great views, friendly people + of course, amazing wine.
Other wineries to check out: Daou, Justin, Law, Tablas Creek
The General Shop is downtown Paso is SO cute - great for gifts or for something fun to bring back yourself.
Happy weekend, and see you next week!
xx
